 Today the whole school walked around the school looking at the amazing art work.we went to every classroom to look at the art work.

Mondrian Writing

 When Mondrian made his paintings, he would always mix his own colours and never use the paint directly out of a tube.He often used primary colour-red, yellow and blue to keep his paintings pure and simple.

Andy Warhol Writing

 In 1961 Andy Warhol came up with the idea of using popular items in his art.He called it Pop Art.He would use pictures of these  common items and change their colours .Andy used bright, contrasting colours in his art.

 

Kandinsky Writing

 Kandinsky Thought  that shapes and colour by themselves were art.He felt that he could express feelings and music through colours and shapes in his paintings he thought that yellow sounded like a trumpet and that some colours put together could sound like a piano.

Today in assembly me and eight others was awarded a skateboard from our kiwi sports couch Simon for how great we are at skateboarding from learning kick-flips, ollies and billy-flips. Also going a up and down ramps and down hills. We each got to choose our own skateboards and out of everyone I was the first to choose and i got a blue, red and black coloured Santa Cruz and it is crazy cool. I even got mine signed from our cool kiwi-sports couch Simon and I can't wait to ride it home.

She went to jail 5000 times and she keeps escaping and keeps making trouble.

After she made lots of trouble she said to herself she making to much trouble then she suddenly changed the people and ran back to her old house and began to cry and all the people came to her house and gave her a prize because she stopped making too much trouble then they gave her a new house and a car and some fancy clothing and she began to make money and live happily ever after.

Then a sneaky fox came and said ''i can help you, you can jump on my back'' .   The gingerbread man did not trust the fox because he might eat him. So gingerbread man hopped onto the fox to cross the river.
My favourite part of the story was when the fos tossed up the gingerbread ,an into the air and ate him all up. THE END!

BAKING STORY !

Today I baked Feijoa Muffins and the good thing about it was that we have a feijoa tree outside our front house. It was fun learning how to bake. My favourite part of baking was the tasting part. It tasted delicious and it was sweet and sour. I was baking with my sister Jayla and Aunty Rose. Here is a little video of me baking hope you enjoy!

MY EVERYDAY HOMEWORK FROM HOME SCHOOL?

Today's date is Friday 17 of April
Today was good. First thing we did was paperwork that had Maths problems and reading sheets. By the time we have finished all our paperwork. It was lunchtime. I was so excited for lunch because we had a sandwich that tasted like a burger. I did a little bit of silent reading for 30mins. In the afternoon we had a spelling test and a maths test. My score for spelling was 18/20 and my score for maths was 25/30. In this table below are some words I found in the book today in the book I read today called Frankie's Magic Football. And I found out the meaning for each of them.

Mr McDonald asked the kids if they want a Competition Tim was worried because he had a bear named Toby he gave him lots of kisses on his nose and almost hugged all his fur he said to him self the final day. Tim carried him in a brown bag.he was worried he'd win. Mrs Hall was the judge for the day.


And my favourite part was when Tim carried him on he's back on the way home back safe and happy with he's first trophy and Told he's mum. and he's mum was really happy and she gave him a big hug.
